Labor Consultation for Small Business Owners in the Food Service Industry
Woowa Brothers has stepped up as a problem solver for small business owners struggling with complex labor issues such as drafting employment contracts, the four major social insurances, wages, and working hours. Woowa Brothers (CEO Lee Guk-hwan), the operator of Baedal Minjok (hereinafter Baemin), announced that from the 13th of last month to October 6th, they conducted a pilot operation of the 'Elegant Labor Problem Solver' in the Busan and Jinju areas to assist small business owners who find it difficult to comply with the Labor Standards Act. They recruited 67 small business owners who wished to receive labor consulting through the Small Business Federation and provided consulting with the help of the Korea Certified Labor Consultants Association.
This project was carried out by having certified labor consultants from the Korea Certified Labor Consultants Association visit restaurants in person to provide one-on-one labor consulting. Additionally, a collection of labor consultation cases, selected from the most popular inquiries on Baemin Food Service Plaza’s expert Q&A, was also delivered.
