Wemade Singapore Subsidiary Invests in 5 Chinese Blockchain Game Companies
Wemade announced on the 11th that its Singapore subsidiary WEMIX PTE has invested in a total of five Chinese developers through a blockchain game-specialized fund established together with Mirana Ventures.
In March of this year, WEMIX PTE launched the fund aimed at nurturing excellent blockchain game developers and expanding the WEMIX 3.0 ecosystem. Mirana Ventures, which co-invested in the fund, is the investment arm of the global virtual asset exchange Bybit. The fund is worth a total of 30 million USD (approximately 40 billion KRW), and this investment utilized 6.4 million USD (approximately 8.6 billion KRW).
The five companies receiving investment are developing diverse genre blockchain games including massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG), card battles, sports, and strategy simulations. All five games will be onboarded to WEMIX PLAY, the WEMIX 3.0-based blockchain game platform. Detailed information about each game will be disclosed later on WEMIX PLAY.

WEMIX PTE and Mirana Ventures are working closely to discover and grow promising projects in China. In particular, beyond simple investment, they actively support projects to proceed stably by sharing their abundant experience and know-how accumulated in the blockchain market. WEMIX PTE plans to continuously expand its investments in Chinese blockchain game developers.
