Dongdaemun-gu Hosts 'Stress FREE' Festival for Teens
On the 21st at Baebongsan Neighborhood Park Outdoor Stage, Youth Club Performances and Celebration Shows by Nerd Connection and Kassy-
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Ilpyeong Lee) announced that it will hold the youth festival "TEN FESTA" at the outdoor stage of Baebongsan Neighborhood Park on the 21st.
"TEN FESTA" means "a stress-free festival for teenagers held in October," and various events will take place from 1 PM to 5 PM on that day. This event was organized to provide teenagers with opportunities to freely express their talents and passions, nurture their dreams, and offer wholesome entertainment.
The event will feature middle and high school club performances, with Part 1 showcasing dance & performance and Part 2 featuring band performances. From 4 PM, celebratory performances by the band Nerd Connection and ballad singer Kassy will be held.
Along with the performances, experience booths prepared by the Dongdaemun Youth Center, Dongdaemun-gu Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, Dongdaemun-gu Youth Support Center Dream, Dongdaemun-gu Parks and Greenery Division, and the local Health Department will be set up at the playground in front of the forest library to provide information about youth facilities and offer various hands-on experiences. Food trucks will be placed at the entrance of the venue for snack purchases, and photo zones will be installed throughout the venue to help attendees capture memories.
The event is open to all local residents, including students, and there is no separate parking lot available, so visitors are encouraged to use public transportation. Entry may be restricted for safety reasons if the crowd exceeds the expected number of attendees.

Mayor Ilpyeong Lee of Dongdaemun-gu said, "Through this event, I hope that teenagers tired from their studies will enjoy performances by their peers, and the performing students will be able to fully showcase their honed skills. We have also prepared celebratory performances by an emotional band and a ballad singer that perfectly match the autumn season. I hope many teenagers participate and throw away all the stress they have accumulated for just this one day and enjoy together."
