Hyundai Green Food Receives Minister of Agriculture Award for 'Eco-Friendly Livestock'
Contribution to the Promotion of Eco-Friendly Livestock Product Distribution
Hyundai Green Food announced on the 6th that it received the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the '2023 Eco-friendly Livestock Awards.'

The Eco-friendly Livestock Awards is a system that rewards companies and farms that have contributed to the development of eco-friendly livestock products and the expansion of sustainable livestock farming. It is jointly hosted every year by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Eco-friendly Livestock Association.
Since receiving the 'Eco-friendly Livestock Handler Certification' in 2013, Hyundai Green Food has been highly evaluated for leading the distribution and popularization of eco-friendly livestock products, including expanding sales of organic and antibiotic-free livestock products, being the first in the industry to sell 'organic and animal welfare certified Hanwoo (Korean beef) from eco-friendly livestock farms,' developing healthy side dishes using eco-friendly livestock products, and conducting promotional events to boost consumption for eco-friendly livestock producers.
Previously, Hyundai Green Food became the first in the distribution industry to apply HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) at all stages of livestock product distribution and obtained the 'Integrated Livestock Product Safety Management Certification,' the highest livestock hygiene management system certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It was also designated as a 'Hanwoo Verification Testing Institution' capable of distinguishing Hanwoo from non-Hanwoo beef.
