Daegu Star Company 'NanoIT' Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship to Youngjin College
On the 6th, Nano IT Co., Ltd., designated as a star company in Daegu, announced that it donated a scholarship of 10 million KRW to the Department of Content Design at Yeungjin College, which has achieved an average employment rate of 81.9% over three years.
The scholarship donation ceremony was attended by Park Sang-su, CEO of Nano IT, Jang Hyun-joo, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Yeungjin College, Son Jun-yong, Head of the Department of Content Design, and Professor Byun Ji-hwan.

Park Sang-su, CEO of Nano IT, who led the scholarship donation, said, “Graduates from Yeungjin College’s Design Department are much better at practical work than those from most four-year universities,” encouraging students to take pride in themselves. He added, “This scholarship is part of our social contribution activities to nurture local talent and contribute to industrial development.”
The Department of Content Design consists of three classes: Visual Design, Online Content Marketing, and Video Creator, focusing on producing digital content creators centered on fieldwork. As part of an industry-academia project, the Visual Design class signed an MOU with Pohang City this year to enhance the brand value of ‘Yeongilman Chingu’ and further supported digital content production and detailed page creation for Pohang market vendors through students’ talent donations, receiving positive responses.
The Video Creator class includes star student Kang Min-hyuk (Class of 2019), who has 231,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. He is the top in Korea in the field of ‘cross-editing,’ which edits different stage videos of idol singers into one stage. Notably, the ‘MOMOLAND-BAAM cross-edit’ video has reached 44.24 million views.
The Online Content Marketing class, having developed skills through LINC3.0, has achieved a result where over 80% of graduates are employed in online advertising agencies and corporate online promotion teams located in Seoul.

Due to these departmental specializations, more than 50% of the Department of Content Design students annually demonstrate outstanding skills in national contests and win awards. The recent three-year average employment rate is 81.9% (based on the Ministry of Education’s University Alimi data from 2021 to 2023), boasting a unique employment achievement among design-related departments nationwide. The Department of Content Design will select 60 new students for the 2024 academic year.
