Yongsan-gu and the War Memorial Foundation have pledged to collaborate for the revitalization of local culture and tourism.
On the 5th, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Hee-young) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "Mutual Exchange Promotion and Joint Development" with the War Memorial Foundation (Chairman Baek Seung-joo) at the district office policy meeting room.
Attending the MOU signing ceremony were Park Hee-young, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, Baek Seung-joo, Chairman of the War Memorial Foundation, and officials from both organizations. They reviewed cooperation plans for key projects of each institution and exchanged signed agreements.
Through this agreement, both organizations will cooperate and exchange to promote joint development in the fields of culture and tourism. This includes ▲ sharing collections and supporting educational program operations ▲ cooperating in the use and management of cultural and tourism facilities managed by both parties ▲ promoting exchanges and mutual cooperation necessary for the execution of each institution’s core tasks.
Park Hee-young, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, “We expect that activating mutual exchange with the War Memorial Foundation will be a great strength in the cultural and tourism sectors,” adding, “We hope this agreement will lead to mutually beneficial development in various fields.”
