Gwangjin-gu Junggok-dong Gingeorang Hanmaeum Festival Successfully Concluded

On the 5th, the 9th Ginkgo Hanmaeum Festival, a representative village festival of Junggok-dong, was held at Ginkgo Sports Park in Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho).
This year, the event was organized by the Junggok 4-dong Cultural Event Committee (Chairperson Lee Jeong-in). Amid the autumnal atmosphere, the enthusiastic performances and diverse attractions provided by the residents delighted both the eyes and ears.
First, after the pre-ceremony performance, congratulatory speeches from distinguished guests followed at the opening ceremony. District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said, “I would like to thank many people who worked together with one heart to prepare the festival,” adding, “I will always listen carefully to the voices of the residents and work harder and more rightly to achieve the development of Junggok-dong.”
Next, during the main event, joyful stages were presented by the students of the Junggok 4-dong Community Center. They showcased their talents and skills through singing contests, dance, and yoga performances, receiving cheers from the audience. In the middle of the performances, the excitement was heightened with a prize drawing and a special performance by an invited singer.
Various side events also attracted attention. Numerous experience booths such as calligraphy exhibitions, knitting, and making air fresheners gathered much interest. In particular, the eco-friendly experience of making cotton candy using an electric bicycle delighted children who showed curiosity and enjoyment.
