The survey results showed that 98% of all respondents were "satisfied" with the screening program, and 81% said they would recommend the "Visiting Obstetrics and Gynecology" to neighbors.
The main examination targets by category were "fertile women screening" at 38%, followed by "infertile women screening" at 28%, "pregnant women treatment and screening" at 21%, and "spouse screening" at 13%.
Respondents cited "the hospital being too far away" as the most common reason for not using medical institutions despite wanting to in the past year.
Regarding reasons for primarily using the Visiting Obstetrics and Gynecology program, 33% responded "convenient due to regular mobile clinics," and 21% said "because medical examinations and tests are free."

It is entrusted to the Gyeongnam branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association to provide prenatal care for pregnant women and health management for fertile women in medically underserved areas without obstetrics and gynecology facilities.
In the three regions of Uiryeong-gun, Sancheong-gun, and Hamyang-gun, the program conducts 3 to 5 mobile clinics monthly, offering pregnant women ▲ultrasound fetal anomaly screening ▲gestational diabetes screening ▲late pregnancy checkups, as well as providing ▲lifecycle medical care for fertile and infertile women and their spouses.
With the trend of increasing marriage and pregnancy ages, this year the program added the "NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing)"?a detailed fetal anomaly test?to reduce the economic burden on high-risk pregnant women.
A 60-year-old resident of Uiryeong-gun said, "I always avoided gynecological exams, but recently through the Visiting Obstetrics and Gynecology, I was able to detect cervical cancer early."
