A pedestrian crossing a two-lane one-way riverside road in Juyak-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, was hit by a car and died.

At 11:03 PM on the 4th, a man in his 20s who was jaywalking on a two-lane riverside road in Juyak-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, was hit and killed by a sports utility vehicle (SUV)-type truck.
According to the Jinju Police Station on the 5th, driver B was driving on the two-lane road from Saebyeori direction toward Gyeongsang National University Hospital when he struck A.
A sustained head and back injuries and was taken to the hospital but ultimately died.
B was found not to be under the influence of alcohol or driving without a license, and reportedly told the police that he did not see the pedestrian at the time of the accident.
