Daksah Holds Online Briefing on Virtual Asset User Protection Act
The Digital Asset Exchange Joint Council (DAXA), consisting of South Korea's five major KRW market exchanges Gopax, Bithumb, Upbit, Korbit, and Coinone, announced on the 5th that it will hold an online briefing session on the "Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users" from the 11th to the 13th of this month.
The briefing session will be conducted by Yoon Min-seop, Head of Policy at DAXA, targeting all Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), covering the obligations and precautions that each virtual asset operator must comply with.
Pre-registration is required to watch the briefing video, and applications can be made through the notice section on the DAXA website.

Kim Jae-jin, Executive Vice Chairman of DAXA, stated, "The purpose of this briefing session is to assist all virtual asset operators, who will be subject to the Virtual Asset User Protection Act effective from July next year, in preparing to fulfill their obligations and to strengthen compliance capabilities together." He added, "DAXA will continue to develop various measures that can have a positive impact on the overall virtual asset industry."
