Bithumb, Fully Waives Fees on 265 Supported Virtual Assets for Trading
Domestic virtual asset exchange Bithumb will implement a full waiver of fees for all virtual assets supported for trading on Bithumb starting from 6 PM on the 4th.
The trading fees for virtual assets supported by Bithumb will change from the existing 0.04~0.25% range to 0%. The virtual assets subject to the fee change include a total of 265 types, such as 241 types in the KRW market and 24 types in the Bitcoin market. The fee exemption policy will continue until further notice.
By clicking 'Fee-Free Registration' in the customer center menu and simply pressing the registration button, customers can automatically apply the fee-free trading policy. Registration will be available from 6 PM on the 4th, and more detailed information about the fee policy changes can be found on the Bithumb Cafe notice board.
Meanwhile, the zero trading fee policy was planned about two months ahead of Bithumb's 10th anniversary. Bithumb interpreted that the fee exemption strategy for the Bitcoin market and some virtual assets in the KRW market had the effect of increasing liquidity supply. With the introduction of this policy, Bithumb plans to take a more aggressive approach by enhancing user convenience through improvements to the exchange application.
