SK On Ranked No.1 in Fortune's 'World-Changing Innovative Companies'

View original imageSK On announced on the 3rd that it ranked first in the '2023 World's Most Innovative Companies' published by the leading U.S. economic media outlet, Fortune.
In this year's 'World's Most Innovative Companies' by Fortune, SK On, Tesla, General Motors (GM), and ChargePoint were jointly selected as the top four companies.
SK On is the only Korean company selected as an innovative company and the first domestic battery manufacturer to be ranked. It also recorded the highest ranking ever among global battery manufacturers.
Fortune evaluated the four companies jointly ranked first as "leading electric vehicle innovation, one of the global net-zero missions, and driving electrification in the United States, the country most familiar with automobiles."
Regarding the reason for selecting SK On, it stated, "It has revitalized the U.S. battery manufacturing industry," and explained, "By 2025, SK On's factories will produce batteries to supply approximately 1.5 million electric vehicles annually in the U.S."
On being selected as the top innovative company, SK On said, "Our leadership in North American electrification has been recognized," and added, "We will continue to create social value with battery technologies and products that contribute to environmental improvement."
