Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Celebrates Chuseok with International Students
Gyeongnam Information University held an event to comfort international students who could not visit their hometowns ahead of Chuseok.
On the afternoon of the 27th, President Kim Dae-sik of Gyeongnam Information University and other staff members visited the international students' dormitory in person to distribute holiday rice cakes.
Earlier that day, the university held a 'Chuseok Pizza Day' and a 'Food Sharing' event consecutively, organized by the International Exchange Center. During these events, simple cooking ingredients such as cooking oil, eggs, and seasonings were provided.
About 100 international students at Gyeongnam Information University, who are unable to return to their home countries for various reasons during this holiday, are expected to spend the holiday in the dormitory.

Since nearby shops and restaurants are expected to be closed during the holiday period, making it difficult to have meals and cook, the university organized this event.
