Damyang-gun Launches Social Connection Enhancement Project
Various Programs Conducted for 20 Middle-aged and Older Single-person Households
Self-reliance Support Planned through Job Integration Support Center after Project
The Community Security Council of Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 27th that it started the 'Gather! Middle-aged and Older Adults' social connection enhancement project on the 26th at the Damyang Middle-aged Rest Center.
This project is conducted targeting 20 single-person households of middle-aged and older adults.
Through various experiences such as healing the mind, relationship restoration, and cultural experiences, the goal is to help psychological stability, communication, and the formation of new social relationships.
The project will continue until November, and after the project, individual professional counseling with participants will be provided to connect with the job integrated support center's education expense support program, aiming to also assist economic independence.
