Cho Hong-seok, CEO of Daehan Steel, Donates 10 Million Won to Disability Facility
Cho Hong-seok, CEO of Daehan Steel Co., Ltd., donated 10 million KRW to the Gwangju Developmental Disabilities Daycare Center (Director No Mi-hyang) through the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
CEO Cho Hong-seok said, "I am grateful to be able to perform such a meaningful act of kindness ahead of Chuseok, a great national holiday," and added, "I participated in the donation with the hope that people with disabilities can receive a more comfortable environment and quality services. I will continue to take the lead in social contribution activities for neighbors in need."
Kim Jin-gon, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank CEO Cho Hong-seok, the 125th member of the Gwangju Honor Society, a group of high-value individual donors who have donated over 100 million KRW, for his continuous sharing," and added, "Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae will do its best to build a welfare environment where people with developmental disabilities can receive quality services in a more comfortable setting."

Meanwhile, CEO Cho Hong-seok joined the Gwangju Honor Society as its 125th member in August 2021 and has been actively engaged in social contribution activities, including supporting scholarships for financially disadvantaged university students and funding health management programs for people with developmental disabilities.
