Housing Finance Corporation Launches 'Green Bogumjari Loan'
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) will launch the 'Green Bogeumjari Loan' on the 27th, offering preferential interest rates and reduced repayment burdens for houses that have obtained green building certification.
HF Corporation provides a preferential loan interest rate discount of 0.1 percentage points for houses that have received green building certification (G-SEED) grade 2 or higher (including preliminary certification) as of the loan application date, and allows loan terms of up to 40 years.

Customers wishing to use the Green Bogeumjari Loan can check whether their house qualifies on the green building certification website and submit a copy of the green building certification online when applying for the loan.
An HF Corporation official stated, “The corporation plans to actively promote the revitalization of green finance in response to the government's ESG support enhancement agenda,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the public role of policy mortgages from an ESG perspective.”
