Jeju International Airport Completes Parking Lot Expansion Project... Enhancing Passenger Convenience
Securing 969 Parking Spaces and Additional Construction of Entrance and Exit Roads
Korea Airports Corporation Jeju Airport (Airport Director Son Jong-ha) announced on the 27th that the 'Jeju International Airport Parking Lot Development Project' was completed on the 25th, and starting from the upcoming Chuseok holiday, airport users will be able to use the newly constructed entrance and exit roads to access the long-term passenger parking lot (official name: P2 Long-term Parking Lot).
The long-term passenger parking lot (488 spaces) was constructed in phases and began operation on March 31. With the completion of this project, a new entrance road connecting to the departure floor (3rd floor) of the passenger terminal and an exit road connecting to Gonghangseo-ro have been newly established, which is expected to greatly improve accessibility to the parking lot.
This project was carried out with the goal of completion before Chuseok to alleviate parking congestion at Jeju Airport and minimize inconvenience for passengers, especially during the busy Chuseok holiday period when many airport users visit.
Son Jong-ha, Director of Jeju Airport, said, "Since Jeju Airport is used by many passengers, we did our best to safely complete the parking lot expansion project," and added, "We hope that with the completion of this project, passengers visiting Jeju Airport will be able to use the parking lot conveniently."
