The Single-Use Item Zero Challenge is a relay campaign started by the Ministry of Environment in February this year with the purpose of reducing the use of single-use items in daily life to promote carbon neutrality and environmental protection. CEO Kim joined the challenge upon the recommendation of Cha Woo-chul, CEO of Lotte GRS.

Regarding his participation in this relay campaign, CEO Kim stated, "Lotte Hotel & Resort will continuously pursue more systematic ESG management and establish itself as a leader in eco-friendliness in the hospitality sector." He nominated Kim Wan-sung, CEO of SK Magic, as the next participant in the challenge.
