59 Youth-Type Purchase Rental Houses Supplied in 8 Areas Including Suwon
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is recruiting tenants for the ‘Youth-type Purchased Rental Housing’ to stabilize housing for young people.
Youth-type Purchased Rental Housing refers to existing houses such as multi-family, multi-unit, and officetels that GH purchases and supplies to young people without homes at rent lower than the market price.
The total number of houses supplied this time is 59, located in eight areas within the province: Goyang, Gimpo, Bucheon, Suwon, Ansan, Yongin, Pyeongtaek, and Hwaseong.
Eligibility for tenancy is unmarried young people without homes who fall under one of the following categories: ▲university students ▲job seekers ▲aged 19 to 39. Based on the third priority qualification criteria, applicants must have a monthly income of 4,024,661 KRW or less and assets of 299 million KRW or less.
The rental conditions are about 30-50% of the surrounding market price, and the rental period is initially 2 years, but tenants can live up to 10 years if they meet the renewal requirements.
Applications for tenancy are accepted from October 16 to 29 (highest priority), October 16 to 19 (first priority), and October 30 to November 2 (second and third priorities). Applications are accepted via registered mail.

In addition to the existing purchased rental housing project, GH implements various housing welfare projects such as supplying ‘construction-type rental housing’ including Happy, National, Permanent, and Long-term Jeonse housing, supporting ‘lease-type rental housing,’ and improving housing quality through ‘housing renovation’ to stabilize housing and improve quality of life.
