Jindo Fire Station Actively Promotes 119 Safety Call Service for Residents' Safety

Jindo Fire Station in Jeollanam-do (Chief Kim Kwang-seon) announced on the 26th that it is promoting the ‘119 Safety Call Service’ operated for the safe and prompt dispatch for the residents.

The ‘119 Safety Call Service’ is a service that allows paramedics to quickly provide emergency treatment and hospital transfer by using pre-registered patient information to understand the disease and characteristics in advance. Registered guardians can also receive messages about the patient’s hospital transfer status and condition.

Anyone residing in Jindo County is eligible to register, and especially vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, elderly living alone, and people with disabilities can receive faster response in emergencies by registering.

To apply, visit the 119 Safety Call Service website and enter the patient’s personal and medical information. Registration can also be done by a proxy other than the patient.

Residents who have difficulty registering can contact the Fire Station’s Response and Rescue Division for phone guidance and proxy registration.
