SK Hynix Selected as Samsung Welstory Cafeteria Catering Provider for the First Time in 13 Years

It has been confirmed that SK Hynix has selected Samsung Welstory as the catering company for its on-site cafeterias. In the semiconductor industry, it is unusual for SK Hynix to make this decision, as companies typically avoid allowing competitors' related firms to enter their business sites for security reasons.
According to industry sources on the 26th, SK Hynix held a public bidding process for catering companies at three of its 15 on-site cafeterias (one in Icheon and two in Cheongju), including the Cheongju M15 support center scheduled to operate in the future, and signed a contract with Samsung Welstory. This marks the first contract between SK Hynix and Samsung Welstory in 13 years, since 2010.
It is known that SK Hynix employees actively participated in the selection process for the catering company. Employees have been involved from the early stages of the bidding process. Vice Chairman and CEO Park Jung-ho reportedly urged that the participation rate of employees in the evaluation process be increased and that evaluations be conducted freely without prejudice.
