William Grant & Sons Hosts 'Balvenie Heritage Exhibition'
Conducted for about two weeks from October 7
William Grant & Sons Korea's authentic handcrafted single malt whiskey The Balvenie will hold The Balvenie Heritage Exhibition, where visitors can experience 60 years of heritage with Balvenie's Malt Master David Stewart, from October 7 to 20, for about two weeks.
At The Balvenie Heritage Exhibition, visitors can learn about the achievements and stories of Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, who revolutionized the whiskey industry with pioneering techniques, including the Balvenie 60-year product. The exhibition also showcases limited edition Balvenie products, the origins of new techniques, Balvenie's craftsmanship, and traditions, allowing visitors to experience the history that Malt Master David Stewart and Balvenie have walked together from 1962 to the present.
The exhibition is composed of three floors. On the first floor, visitors can explore the 60-year history of Balvenie from past to present. To commemorate the launch of Balvenie 60 years, the second floor is dedicated to fully experiencing Balvenie 60 years. It includes a product-only exhibition zone, a Balvenie tunnel zone inspired by the 60-year external packaging design, a photo zone featuring quotes from David Stewart, and an event zone. The third floor is a rooftop where visitors can enjoy two types of ‘Heritage Cocktails’ based on Balvenie 12 years and Balvenie 12-year Neat. Notably, the photo zone has a separate photo booth where visitors can receive printed photos, and the event zone offers various activities such as crossword puzzles, lucky draws, and SNS events.
David Stewart, who has worked in the Scotch whisky industry for 60 years, grew alongside the Balvenie distillery and created a new technique for flavoring whiskey called ‘Cask Finish.’ Over his 60-year career in the Scotch whisky industry, he was recognized for developing pioneering technologies in the whiskey production process and was awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
