Seoul City Resumes 'Foreign Tourist Hospitality Week' After 4 Years
The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Association announced on the 26th that they will designate the period from the 28th of this month to the 6th of next month as the '2023 Foreign Tourist Hospitality Week' and will hold welcoming events for foreign guests. This marks the resumption of the event after four years since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.
This Hospitality Week, themed 'Meeting in Seoul, Welcome Gift Package,' is a collaboration between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the global card company UnionPay International, preparing a practical 'gift package' including special discount coupons.
The welcome gift package includes not only discount benefits but also cultural benefits that showcase Seoul's unique charms. During the hospitality period, foreign tourists visiting Seoul can enjoy cultural benefits as well, with carefully selected performances, events, and activities hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, all presented in multiple languages for easy access at a glance.During the hospitality period, a hospitality promotion zone will be operated at Gimpo Airport, and a mobile hospitality booth will be set up in Myeongdong to conduct various events.
