Gyeonggi-do Provides Up to 300,000 KRW Support for Language and Certification Exam Fees for Unemployed Youth
Gyeonggi Province will support unemployed youth with up to 300,000 KRW for language and qualification exam fees.
On the 26th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will recruit applicants for the "Gyeonggi Youth Capacity Building Opportunity Support Project," which reimburses actual expenses for fees of 19 language tests including TOEIC, 544 national technical qualifications, and 95 nationally certified private qualifications from October 2 to November 30.
Youth residing in Gyeonggi Province as of January 1, 2023 (age according to city/county ordinances) who are unemployed as of the exam date are eligible to apply.
The maximum support per person is 300,000 KRW. Applicants can receive up to 100,000 KRW per exam, up to three times. However, for youth taking mainly low-cost exams, support can be provided more than four times annually within a total limit of 100,000 KRW.
Applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation’s online integrated application system, "Jobaba Apply."
