Visiting Traditional Markets to Communicate with Merchants Ahead of Chuseok
Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, visited a traditional market on the 25th ahead of Chuseok to support merchants struggling due to decreased seafood consumption.
Visiting Masan Fish Market, Mayor Hong listened to the difficulties of the merchants and exchanged holiday greetings with citizens visiting the market. He also checked price trends while purchasing seasonal products at various stores.

He added, “We ask citizens to actively participate in seafood consumption during Chuseok.”
Earlier, Mayor Hong visited the Senior Welfare Center located in Masanhwoewon-gu, toured the main facilities, listened attentively to the various stories of the elderly, and encouraged the hard work of the staff.
