Boseong-gun Holds Public Officials Unity Conference

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on the 22nd, it held the ‘2023 Public Officials Unity Festival’ at Jaeamsan Natural Recreation Forest, providing an opportunity for harmony and communication among employees.

The event featured about 500 public officials from the main office, affiliated institutions, business offices, and towns and townships, participating in various programs designed to foster a sense of belonging and unity within the organization.

In particular, the 13 unity programs, in which employees representing their departments competed, greatly contributed to enhancing solidarity and harmony among staff, accompanied by enthusiastic cheering.

Additionally, tug-of-war and a 600m relay race were held with teams formed by towns, townships, and administrative support departments. As a result, Nodong-myeon, the Urban Development Division, and the Council Secretariat won the overall championship and received a prize of 1.5 million won.

Furthermore, a ‘Bye Bye Plastic’ booth was operated to reduce plastic pollution, where employees who brought used batteries, paper packs, transparent PET bottles, and other recyclables were given exchange items. Through this event, 4,524 items (104 kg) of recyclables were collected.

County Governor Kim Cheol-woo said, “I am very pleased to hold the Public Officials Unity Festival after a long time,” adding, “I hope this meaningful gathering, where all employees unite and communicate, will bring vitality to the organization.”

Meanwhile, Boseong-gun holds the Public Officials Unity Festival annually to lead efforts in employee harmony, communication, and organizational revitalization.
