Korea Eximbank Donates a Total of 170 Million Won for Chuseok
Donations to 16 Social Welfare Facilities Nationwide... Volunteer Activities Included
The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 22nd that it donated a total of 170 million KRW to 16 social welfare facilities nationwide in celebration of Chuseok and conducted volunteer activities with its employees.
Employees at the bank's headquarters visited a free meal service for the homeless near Seoul Station and the Singil Comprehensive Social Welfare Center over two days starting the day before, delivering food supplies and volunteering in meal distribution.
Employees from 12 branches including Busan, Daejeon, and Daegu also visited social welfare facilities in their respective regions where donations were made, delivering Chuseok gifts such as holiday food to children and elderly living alone.
An official from the bank said, "We conducted this volunteer activity to deliver warm care to marginalized neighbors during Chuseok, the nation's biggest holiday," adding, "We will continue to carry out ongoing social contribution activities for vulnerable groups in our society."

Meanwhile, the bank plans to hold a Chuseok blood donation campaign for life-sharing targeting headquarters employees over two days starting from the 26th.
