Haman Museum Hosts Special Exhibition "Aramanhwabang" Commemorating Maliyasan Tumuli World Heritage Listing
Held from September 22 to January 28, 2024
Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, will hold a special exhibition titled "Aramanhwabang" at the Haman Museum's Ancient Tomb Exhibition Hall from September 22 to January 28 next year, celebrating the UNESCO World Heritage inscription of the Gaya tumulus groups, including the Maliyasan Tumuli Group in Haman.
This exhibition is jointly planned by the Haman Museum and the National Gimhae Museum as part of the 2023 Gaya Cultural Zone Museum Council joint project. The exhibition features 10 award-winning works from the Gaya Webtoon Contest hosted by the National Gimhae Museum, along with webtoon drawing experiences and programs linked to the permanent exhibition.
A county official stated, "This exhibition, which presents the culture of Ara Gaya through easily accessible webtoon content, is very meaningful in terms of actively utilizing cultural heritage," and added, "We hope that Ara Gaya cultural heritage content will be utilized in even more diverse fields beyond this special exhibition."
