O Se-cheol, Chairman of Seocho-gu Council, and Others Share Warm Neighborly Love for Chuseok
Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, the Seocho District Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) visited social welfare facilities in the area to deliver relief supplies and share warmth with neighbors.
Over two days, from the 19th to the 20th, council members divided into four groups and visited 10 locations including ▲Banpo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center ▲Saebit Baul House ▲Korea Veterans of Agent Orange Association ▲Sinmangae House ▲Daniel Welfare Center ▲Umyeon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center ▲Bangbae-dong District Children's Center ▲Seocho District Children's Center ▲Umyeon-dong District Children's Center ▲Umyeon District Children's Center, delivering 200 bags of Naju Euddeum Rice (10kg each).
Notably, the 200 bags of rice (10kg each) were procured at a low price based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Seocho District and Naju City at the end of last year. Thanks to this, the council was able to add four local children's centers to the existing six facilities, thereby supporting the healthy diets of children as well.
