"First, Get Dressed and Step Outside"... Black Yak Launches Fall Campaign
'The World Is Outside the Door' Challenge Underway
Outdoor Community BAC Members Can Participate
Black Yak announced on the 21st that it will release an autumn campaign video conveying the message, "First, put on your clothes and step outside the door," to experience nature.
The company explained that this campaign focuses on showing what values and culture Black Yak, as a "brand that loves mountains and a brand loved by mountain enthusiasts," is creating.
The campaign video features Black Yak's exclusive model IU, mountaineer Captain Um Hong-gil, as well as actor Lee Si-young and YouTuber OJibro, who are part of Black Yak's high-performance product (DNS) line Extremers, along with many members active in South Korea's largest outdoor community platform, the Black Yak Alpine Club (BAC).
To support the 430,000 BAC members, Black Yak is also running the challenge "The world is outside the door." Any BAC member can apply on the challenge page provided in the application (app) and participate by verifying hikes from BAC's representative programs "Famous Mountains 100" and "Famous Mountains 100+." Those who complete all 10 verifications will receive a digital badge commemorating their success and a BAC diary on a first-come, first-served basis.
After the challenge, a lottery will offer opportunities to participate in a bivouac with OJibro and trekking with Captain Um Hong-gil.
