Ulsan Ulju-gun, Agreement on 'Home Care' Medical Benefits Pilot Project
On the 20th, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City signed a business agreement with partner medical institutions such as Seoul Sanboram Hospital and Ison Nursing Hospital to promote the pilot project for home medical benefits.
The 'Home Medical Benefits Pilot Project' is a community integrated care initiative implemented by the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2019. It provides integrated services including medical care, caregiving, meals, and transportation to long-term medical benefit inpatients with low hospitalization needs, helping them to settle stably at home after discharge from the hospital.
According to the agreement, Seoul Sanboram Hospital and Ison Nursing Hospital will form care teams to support medical benefit recipients by establishing care plans, monitoring, and providing intensive education and counseling related to the medical aspects of the recipients.

An official from Ulju-gun stated, “This agreement will help medical benefit recipients smoothly settle into the community after discharge,” and added, “During the pilot project period, we will regularly monitor the health status and living environment of the recipients to support stable home living.”
