Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station, On-Site Guidance Visit to Traditional Markets for Chuseok Preparation
Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station announced on the 17th that it conducted an on-site guidance visit to Malbau Market, a traditional market in the jurisdiction, on the afternoon of the 15th to strengthen fire prevention measures ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
This visit was arranged to eliminate fire hazards in advance by checking safety management concerns at traditional markets frequently used by many people before the holiday, and to enhance initial response capabilities in emergencies through strengthening a voluntary safety management system centered on related personnel.
The main inspection points included ▲ requests for fire prevention such as handling of fire sources ▲ checking the proper maintenance and management of firefighting facilities ▲ guidance on maintaining and managing evacuation and fire prevention facilities such as securing emergency exits and evacuation routes ▲ dissemination of major fire incident cases and education to prevent similar accidents.
