Byeongno Lee, Damyang County Governor, Holds Town and Township Chiefs Meeting to Strengthen Communication and Cooperation
Communication with Military Officers, Public Officials, and Eup-Myeon Chiefs Ahead of Chuseok Holiday
On the 13th, Damyang-gun in Jeollanam-do held a meeting of eup and myeon heads for September at the Damyang-gun Office large conference room, presided over by County Governor Lee Byeong-no, with attendance from senior county officials and eup and myeon heads, the county announced on the 14th.
The meeting was organized to discuss and share measures for the Chuseok holiday and major pending issues, as October 2nd was designated a temporary holiday, leading to expectations of many visitors including returnees and tourists during the extended Chuseok holiday.
During the meeting, 46 agenda items were discussed, including the 2024 fiscal management direction in response to decreased national tax revenue, a full survey of the Damyang-style village care project, preparations for the 27th Senior Citizens' Day commemorative event, and the establishment of comprehensive measures by sector for the Chuseok holiday.
