Changwon Special City, "Check the Trash Collection Schedule for Chuseok Holidays"
Providing Citizens with a Clean and Pleasant Living Environment
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is implementing the "Chuseok Holiday Household Waste Management Plan" to provide citizens with a clean and pleasant living environment during the Chuseok holiday period.
During the Chuseok holiday, on September 28, October 1, and October 3, volume-based waste bags and food waste will be collected as usual, while collection will be suspended on the two days of Chuseok, September 29 and 30.
Recyclables will be collected normally on the 28th, not collected on the 29th, collected in Uichang and Seongsan districts but not in Masanhappo, Hoewon, and Jinhae districts on the 30th; not collected in Uichang and Seongsan districts but collected in Masanhappo, Hoewon, and Jinhae districts on October 1; and normal collection will be conducted from October 2 to 3.
Additionally, during the Chuseok holiday period (9.28.~10.3.), a situation team and a cleaning agency mobile team will be organized and operated to promptly respond to any inconveniences or complaints related to waste.
Jo Seonghwan, Director of the Climate and Environment Bureau, stated, "We will make every effort to implement the household waste management plan so that all citizens can have a comfortable and pleasant Chuseok holiday," and added, "We kindly ask citizens to dispose of household waste generated during the holiday according to the collection schedule (from 8 PM to midnight the day before collection)."
