"Expanding Stock Brokerage Business to Europe"… NH Investment & Securities Signs Business Agreement with Instinet Europe
NH Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with Instinet Europe, a global stock brokerage service company. The Instinet Europe signing ceremony was attended by Jung Young-chae, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, as well as Lee Bok-hyun, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, who was staying in London to participate in an IR event, along with numerous other guests.
Through this agreement, NH Investment & Securities plans to actively expand its global stock brokerage business. Since April last year, when it expanded its existing London office into a local corporation, it has been strengthening its foundation for business expansion by recruiting specialized personnel for local IB deal sourcing. Selecting overseas stock brokerage as a new business, NH Investment & Securities aims to become a global stock brokerage hub covering the European market through its London corporation, leveraging the business agreement with Instinet Europe as a stepping stone.
Instinet Europe, the business partner of NH Investment & Securities’ London corporation through this agreement, is the London branch of Instinet, a global stock brokerage service company established in the United States in 1969. It provides various brokerage services to institutional investors worldwide from the financial hub of London. NH Investment & Securities plans to offer stable brokerage services to European stock trading customers through its partnership with Instinet Europe.
In the future, NH Investment & Securities is also considering operating a night desk to support customers during European stock market hours. After establishing the night desk, it is expected to realize the industry’s first 24-hour desk system operated locally in accordance with the local market’s trading hours.
