Korea Forest Welfare Institute Hosts 'ESG and Innovation Idea Contest'
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 14th that it will hold the "2023 National ESG and Innovation Idea Contest" until the 13th of next month.
The contest themes are divided into three categories: ▲ ESG (Environment, Social Responsibility, Governance) ▲ Management Innovation (management improvement, services, private sector support, work performance methods) ▲ Other new business ideas differentiated from the Institute's existing projects.
Anyone from the public can participate in the contest. Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the Forest Welfare Institute's website, filling it out, and submitting it.
The Forest Welfare Institute will evaluate entries based on relevance to work, feasibility, innovativeness, effectiveness, and public interest, selecting 8 outstanding ideas including 1 grand prize, 2 excellence awards, and 5 encouragement awards, with a total prize amount of approximately 3 million KRW.
Additionally, outstanding ideas will be reflected and promoted in future management innovation tasks and new projects of the Forest Welfare Institute.

Nam Taeheon, President of the Korea Forest Welfare Institute, said, "We hope that many creative and diverse ideas from the public's perspective will be submitted to the contest," and added, "The Institute will ensure that the ideas received through the contest are effectively applied to the institution's management and forest welfare service projects in the future."
