LG Chem Establishes CS Center in Germany to Provide Customized Support for European Customers
LG Chem is significantly strengthening its customized close support for European customers.
LG Chem announced on the 13th that it will open a 'Europe CS (Customer Solution) Center' in Frankfurt, Germany, to respond to customers. This center is a specialized organization that provides comprehensive technical solutions such as product development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement to customers and partners.
The Europe CS Center was built with an investment of about 50 billion KRW since September 2021, spanning three above-ground floors with a total floor area of approximately 7,400㎡ (about 2,300 pyeong), and is equipped with production-level equipment such as extrusion and injection molding used by customers.
In particular, in addition to automotive materials, which are major European customers, it has processing technology capabilities specialized in eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastics, with dedicated personnel stationed to provide technical support.
Through the Europe CS Center, LG Chem plans to establish a customer response base capable of providing technical solutions locally, strengthening its market position in Europe. The European market is a key market where LG Chem's sales have grown nearly 100 times since its entry in 2005 until last year.
LG Chem has established a customer support system connecting Korea (Osan), China (South China, East China), and Europe (Germany), enabling coverage across Asia and Europe. Additionally, it plans to expand close global customer support by establishing a CS center in the Americas within this year.
