The summit between North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who are visiting Russia, is expected to take place at the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
On the 12th (local time), Japan's Kyodo News reported, citing Russian authorities, that Chairman Kim and President Putin are scheduled to hold talks at the Vostochny Cosmodrome located in Amur Oblast in Russia's Far East.
The source also revealed that after the summit, the two leaders plan to visit the Sukhoi fighter jet manufacturing plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, an industrial city in nearby Khabarovsk Krai.
On the same day, President Putin attended the main session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) held in Vladivostok and mentioned plans to visit the Vostochny Cosmodrome. He said, "I plan to visit the Vostochny Cosmodrome," adding, "When I go there, you will also find out." However, he did not comment on whether he would hold talks with Chairman Kim.
