Established in 2020, Innocean Indonesia is emerging as a top creative marketing agency in Indonesia, which is rapidly becoming a future industrial hub in the Asia-Pacific region. Despite being a newly established subsidiary, it has been recognized for its creative capabilities by surpassing not only prominent global agencies but also local marketing firms, entering high-ranking positions.
Indonesia is the most populous country in Southeast Asia and plays a central role in the ASEAN region not only politically and economically but also in the advertising sector. The advertising market size this year is estimated at approximately $6.2 billion (about 8.2336 trillion KRW). It leads the ASEAN market with a significant gap compared to Thailand (about $4.3 billion), the Philippines (about $2.8 billion), and Singapore (about $2.6 billion). It is the 17th largest advertising market in the world, with global agencies such as WPP, Dentsu, Omnicom, and IPG operating there.
Meanwhile, based on these achievements, Innocean has reorganized its existing global structure, establishing the Asia-Pacific regional headquarters based in the Indonesian subsidiary, connecting subsidiaries in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia, and is accelerating its approach to the Asia-Pacific region. It plans to support marketing activities for major clients including Hyundai and Kia Motors and expand its market presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Currently, Innocean provides marketing services not only for Hyundai and Kia Motors but also for local clients such as the Indonesian home appliance brand Yong Ma and the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (INA). After Southeast Asian creativity expert Chau Kok Keng joined Innocean Indonesia as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) last year, various campaigns have won multiple main awards at global advertising festivals such as Adfest and The One Show.
