Suwon-si Conducts Emergency Safety Inspection of 'Major Roads' Ahead of Chuseok
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct special inspections of major roads and road facilities until the 27th of this month to ensure safe travel during the Chuseok holiday season.
The inspection targets are major roads with heavy vehicle traffic and road facilities such as underpasses.
During this period, Suwon will conduct frequent patrols and repair potholes and damaged areas around manholes that may cause accidents.
Additionally, to prepare for underpass flooding, drainage pumps and drainage channels will be inspected, and road facilities including underpasses will be cleaned.
An emergency response system will be established during the Chuseok holiday period.
An emergency contact network will be created to enable constant communication between responsible public officials and repair contractors, and an emergency repair team will be organized for prompt response in case of emergencies.
