Seoul Milk to Raise Price of 1L White Milk to 3,200 Won at Convenience Stores from October, a 4.9% Increase
200mL is increased by 9.1%, 1.8L large size is increased by 11.7%
Starting next month, the convenience store prices of Seoul Milk's white milk products will increase by 4.9 to 11.7%.
According to the food industry on the 11th, the price of Seoul Milk Cooperative's white milk product 'Na100% Milk' will rise by 4.9%, from 3,050 won to 3,200 won per 1L.
The price increase for other volumes of white milk is even higher. The 200mL product price will rise by 9.1%, from 1,100 won to 1,200 won, and the 1.8L product price will increase by 11.7%, from 5,550 won to 6,200 won. Seoul Milk will raise prices not only for white milk but also for processed milk and yogurt products. Processed milk will increase by 11.1%, from 1,800 won to 2,000 won per 300mL, and yogurt Biyotte will rise by 27.8%, from 1,800 won to 2,300 won.

On the 29th of last month, Seoul Milk announced that starting in October, the ex-factory price of Na100% Milk (1L) will increase by about 3% based on large discount stores. This follows the Dairy Promotion Board's decision to raise the raw milk price used for drinking milk by 88 won per liter (8.8%) starting in October. As Seoul Milk, the industry leader, completes product price adjustments by distribution channel, other dairy companies such as Maeil Dairies and Namyang Dairy Products are also expected to follow suit with price adjustments.
