Korea Exchange to Close Domestic Stock Market on Temporary Holiday, July 2
Following the government's designation of the 2nd of next month as a temporary holiday, the Korea Exchange announced on the 11th that the securities, derivatives, and general commodities markets will be closed on that date.
The markets affected by the closure include ▲Securities Market (stock market, ETF·ETN·ELW market, beneficiary certificates market, subscription warrants·securities market, bond market including Repo) and KSM (KRX Startup Market) ▲Derivatives Market (including EUREX-linked global markets) ▲General Commodities Market (oil, gold, emission permits), among others. Over-the-counter derivatives (KRW IRS, USD IRS) clearing operations and the trade repository (KRX-TR) will also be closed.
