Busan Jeonggwan Children's Library to Operate Creative Gabae Play Classes in the Second Half of This Year
Jeonggwan Children's Library in Gijang-gun, Busan, will operate the 2023 second half "Creative Gabe Play" course, which helps the cognitive development of young children, starting from the 9th.
The Creative Gabe Play course is a program that fosters creativity and thinking skills as well as basic mathematical concepts through various play activities and experiences using Gabe educational toys.
Jeonggwan Children's Library has been running this course since 2022 to reduce the burden of purchasing educational toys by lending Gabe toys and to provide children with various experiential opportunities.
Last year, the Creative Gabe Play course was operated 30 times in total, divided into three sessions of 10 classes each, through non-face-to-face online methods with Gabe toy lending for children aged 6 to 7 in Gijang-gun. In 2023, it will be conducted 10 times each in the first and second halves of the year through face-to-face lectures.
The second half of the 2023 course finished recruitment in August, and the first class will start on the 9th. Reflecting the high interest and demand from local residents for Gabe classes, the Creative Gabe Play course will continue to be offered in 2024.
