At the meeting, the customs authorities mainly discussed customs cooperation to revitalize bilateral trade and joint measures to block high-risk transactions between the two countries.
Customs cooperation to promote trade focuses on activating e-commerce trade between the two countries and expanding the use of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to facilitate trade.
They also shared awareness of the seriousness of cross-border high-risk transactions such as drugs and agreed to strengthen cooperation in exchanging risk information and conducting joint crackdowns in the future.
