Annual 4% Naver Pay X Hana Bank Account, Relaunched with Increased Limit
Recruitment Volume Expanded from 500,000 to 1,000,000 Seats
Deposit Limit Doubled... Up to 2 Million Won Possible
The 'Naver Pay Money Hana Account,' which gained great popularity after being launched through a partnership between Hana Bank and Naver Pay, is being relaunched. While maintaining the annual interest rate of 4%, the deposit limit eligible for this rate has been doubled to 2 million KRW.
On the 5th, Hana Bank announced that it will relaunch the 'Naver Pay Money Hana Account,' originally launched in November last year through a partnership with Naver Pay, increasing the limit from 500,000 accounts to 1 million accounts.
The 'Naver Pay Money Hana Account' is a product that allows users to store prepaid Naver Pay Money in a bank account, enabling them to enjoy both interest and point benefits from Naver Pay payments simultaneously. It was designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission last year.
The relaunched account also maintains the maximum annual interest rate of 4% (for subscriptions by March 1, 2024). The deposit limit has been expanded from 1 million KRW to 2 million KRW. With a 2 million KRW deposit, users can earn up to 80,000 KRW (before tax) in interest annually. These conditions also apply equally to customers who subscribed when it was first launched last year.
Additionally, Naver Pay point benefits remain unchanged: up to 3% points accumulation on Naver Pay online payments (up to 7% when used simultaneously with Naver Plus Membership), double points accumulation on in-store payments (4 times when used with Naver Plus Membership), and 1.2% Naver Pay points accumulation when using the Naver Pay Money Hana Check Card (up to 10,000 KRW per month). With a monthly payment of 300,000 KRW, users can accumulate up to 108,000 KRW annually.
Moreover, various events are being held to commemorate the relaunch. When paying with the Naver Pay Money Hana Account, users can receive up to 20,000 KRW in random Naver Pay points. Additionally, 1,000 people will be selected by lottery to receive 50,000 KRW in Naver Pay points.
