Ukraine: "Russian drone crashes in Romania"... Romania: "No such incident"
Ukraine claimed that a drone launched by Russia to attack the Danube River port in southern Ukraine crashed and exploded on the territory of Romania, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Romania denied this claim.
According to local media on the 4th (local time), Oleh Nikolenko, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on social media (SNS) that "during a large-scale attack on the Izmail port last night, a Russian drone crashed and exploded on Romanian territory."

He also posted a photo showing flames caused by the explosion across the Danube River.
However, the Romanian Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying, "We are monitoring the situation resulting from the Russian drone attack in real time," and firmly denied the claim that a Russian drone crashed on Romanian territory.
In the early hours of the day, Russia launched a drone airstrike lasting about three hours and thirty minutes targeting Izmail, a port city in Odesa Oblast at the mouth of the Danube River. This area is used as an alternative transport route for Ukraine to export grain.
