Professor Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University to Deliver Keynote Speech at KDI Conference
The Korea Development Institute (KDI) announced on the 4th that it will hold the 2023 KSP (Knowledge Sharing Program) Performance Sharing Conference on the 11th under the theme of "Transitioning the Role of Knowledge Sharing Projects to Economic Security Strategy."
This conference is hosted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and jointly organized by the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). Held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul, the conference will explore cooperation measures on various global issues such as core technologies, climate change, and finance, and discuss knowledge sharing projects as an "economic security" strategy.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Jeffrey Sachs, a distinguished economist and professor at Columbia University in the United States. Professor Sachs will diagnose the global economic situation, where various crisis factors such as technological hegemony due to advanced technology development, economic security, geopolitical factors, and climate change are interconnected, and will present his views on the role of knowledge sharing.
