Fire at Detached House in Miryang... 50-Year-Old Son Dies

At around 6:06 PM on the 3rd, a fire broke out in a detached house in Samrangjin-eup, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, resulting in one fatality.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 4th, the house was completely burned down, and a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who was in the master bedroom, was found dead.
The 90-year-old mother who was with him in the house evacuated on her own but inhaled smoke and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The fire was fully extinguished by the responding firefighters at around 7:02 PM.
At the scene, 50 personnel including firefighters, police officers, and Korea Electric Power Corporation employees, along with 20 pieces of equipment such as fire trucks and water tanks, were deployed.
