Ulsan Fire Department Hosts Ulsan Mayor's Cup Drone Competition... Diverse Exhibitions and Experience Events
On the 9th at Munsu Football Stadium Hoban Plaza
The Ulsan Fire Department Headquarters (Chief Lee Jae-soon) will hold the "2nd Ulsan Metropolitan City Mayor's Cup Drone Competition" on the 9th at Hoban Square in the Moon-gu Soccer Stadium.
This competition was organized to expand the drone base and activate drone operations in the Ulsan area. About 1,000 people, including Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, Ulsan Fire Department Chief Lee Jae-soon, and competition participants, will attend the event.
The competition will begin with an opening ceremony and proceed in three categories: ▲Public Sector ▲General Sector ▲Student Sector.
The public sector consists of nationwide public institution workers competing in mountain and water rescue searches and collapsed building rescue searches, with rankings determined by the combined scores.
The general sector is open to anyone residing in Ulsan and includes mountain and water rescue searches and drone racing, with winners decided by the combined scores of each event.
The student sector is open to any student attending school in Ulsan. It features a "land-grabbing bingo game" using drones in a Pop Drone Battle format, where players compete by touching and occupying as many spots as possible within a time limit.
In addition, accessible side events such as ▲experience events (drone soccer simulator, firefighter job experience, etc.) and ▲exhibition events (introduction of virtual reality drone jamming programs, etc.) will be held to provide a sense of presence and interest. Various prize draw events will also be conducted with sponsorship from SK Energy Co., Ltd.
