Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju "You Who Read Books Are Hope" Photo Contest
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is holding a photo contest until the 20th to promote and activate the use of the specialized spaces in Gwangsan-gu Public Library.
The theme of the contest is "You Who Read Books Are Hope," and participants are asked to submit photos with stories set against the backdrop of the library or photos capturing fun and heartwarming scenes of people reading books.
Any citizen nationwide can participate, and each person may submit only one photo.
The necessary application forms can be downloaded from the Gwangsan-gu website or the Gwangsan-gu Public Library website. Completed forms should be submitted along with the photo via email.
The submitted works will be judged, and the results will be announced on October 11 through the Gwangsan-gu Public Library and Gwangsan-gu websites.

Award-winning works will be exhibited at the 2023 Gwangsan-gu "Night Library" festival. The grand prize and excellence award winners will receive the Gwangsan-gu Mayor’s Award.
